2016.10.07 - Cabin Seat

The cabin seat took all afternoon despite its small size and a good hour of that was just spent looking at the space and working out in my head how it was all going to work. Still it is done now and looks quite good.

The frame for the cabin seat, strong and sturdy as it has to support my weight!

And now with the slats in place as well.

I was going to put a lip on it to stop the seat cushion from falling off, but I decided that velcro would do the trick and I wouldn't get pressure lines under my legs.

There's a lot of slats in this boat! More to come as well in the lazarette under the poop deck.

Next up, all the epoxy work that this lot has generated.
